What Information We Gather
Personal Information You Provide. Certain Niles products collect non-personal information about themselves and their installation environment. Certain products may also regularly check for updates to help keep your Niles products running at peak performance and provide alerts to you as to the latest firmware. This information is associated with you only when you opt-in to receive communications from us for the identified purpose. You may opt-out of the collection of this information at any time by changing the settings or uninstalling software from your computer. By setting up the logging feature of certain products, you give us your permission to collect product information (including usage and operational history) that is linked to your email address. This feature is available on an opt-in basis, and you must proactively enable the feature for it to collect data.
Information from Other Sources. We may obtain information about you from outside sources and combine it with the information that you provide to us. For example, we may use commercially available demographics and other marketing information from third parties to help us better serve you or inform you about products or services that we think will be of interest to you. We sometimes receive updated delivery and address information from our shippers or other sources so that we can correct our records and deliver your next purchase or communication more easily. Finally, we may also purchase lists containing your personal information (i.e. postal address, phone number, email address) for advertising and marketing purposes. How We May Use Your Information

Aggregate Information; Niles Partners. We may use anonymous IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Site, or to display the content according to your preferences. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an anonymous aggregated basis. Niles works with certain marketing and advertising partners and may offer you the opportunity to opt-in to receive information by email or mail from reputable organizations whose products or services we believe may be of interest to you. If you decide not to opt-in, your information will not be disclosed to those partners.
Disclosure to Successors. We may disclose your personal information to any actual successor-in-interest of ours, in connection with the Site, or the business and activities carried on by us. Niles is very concerned with and safeguards the security of the data you send us with industry-standard physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. When appropriate, we use SSL-encryption to enhance the security of sensitive data transmissions on the Site. Within Niles, data is stored in controlled servers with limited access by authorized personnel only. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure the security of the information you transmit to us over an unsecured Internet connection. Children and Privacy
Our Site does not target and is not intended to attract children under the age of 13. Niles does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 or send them requests for personal information.
